If the prose looks more like Janny's than mine, it may be due to my using a sparser descriptive style than Janny does. But I think you'll find the Empire stuff less detailed in some ways than Janny's solo work. It's really a Feist-Wurts prose, not a Feist prose or a Wurts prose.
Originally, Janny and I did an outline and I was going to do 1st draft and she was going to rewrite. But she wanted to do the 1st draft for Mara's wedding, and after that we leap-frogged the 1st drafts.
There are portions of the book which are mostly mine (the assassination of the Obajan), and mostly Janny's (the journey to Thruril), but most of it is roughly 50/50
