Oh, sure. I got hooked on American pro football by an uncle back when I was 5. That was 1951, just a few months before my 6th birthday when he took me to see the L.A. Rams play the New York Yanks (today's Indy Colts). I had no idea what was going on, but the Rams won 54-14, so every few minutes everyone was standing up and shouting at the top of their lungs. I was a little kid and for the first time in my life no one told me to sit down and be quite! I LOVED that game. <g>
I became a fan of the Lakers when they moved to L.A. in 1960 and am still only so-so on baseball, though I like taking my son to games.
But I like all kinds of football, soccer, rugby, footie, etc.
